The Moebius or Flattop Ship was a ship based on the design of French scifi comic artist Moebius. It's also referred to as Recovery Ship since it's believed the ships function was a mobile construction dock that would conduct repairs on disabled ships. The Flattop ship was also digitalized and used in the new Battlestar Galactica series. It's known as the Foundry Ship or Hephaestus in that series.
