Though her link was mentioned on several sites, Anne Lockhart, better known as the though-as-nails, female viper pilot Sheba on Battlestar Galactica 1978, never got around to making her actual site. This has now changed and her website has just been opened to the fans. ![]() In August/September 2005 the webmasters of this site finally met their lifelong childhood heroine Anne Lockhart at two unique European Battlestar Galactica reunions that they helped organize. Next to spending an unforgettable weekend with her and interviewing her for this website, the possibility of finally making her a decent website was also discussed. It took several months to complete, but has been recently opened to the public. The website gives a good overall view of Anne's career and contains an extensive biography. Next to unique images (many of which are made available by Anne herself), it has a complete overview of articles and interviews published over time. It goes as far back as 1958 when Anne starred as a 5 year old girl in her first Oscar nominated short movie Tumbleweed. The site also has a lively forum where fans have written Sheba related fan fiction and serious discussions take place about roles Anne played or could have played (in the eyes of the fans). Check out this site and say hello the site hostess on the forum. |
