After finishing the first Star Wars movie, Ralph McQuarrie was asked to do the concept art for the Battlestar Galactica 1978 series. Ralph McQuarrie worked on the designs of the battlestar Galactica, the Viper, the Cylon Raider and Basestar and even did some preliminary artwork on the costumes of the Cylons, the Imperious Leader and the Ovions. Also his work on the Battlestar Galactica logo and poster is shown. This gallery shows a collection of these concept sketches.
