|Tricia Helfer (Cylon #6)|
Actress Name: Tricia Helfer
Character Name: Cylon #6 / Caprica Six / Shelley Godfrey / Gina
Episode Appearances: Main Cast on Mini-Series, Season 1, 2 and 3.
Character Bio: Cylon #6 was sent to infiltrate the defense mainframe of the colonies. To do that she becomes involved with Dr. Gaius Baltar. After the attacks he sees a mental Six who seems to guide him through. This version is distant, somewhat cold and very religious. She claims to be an angel of God who was sent to him. What she really is, is still one of the series' mysteries.
Another version of the Six model shows up, in living flesh this time. She's known as Shelley Godfrey and accuses Baltar of betraying humanity. In the end they discover it's a trick but she mysteriously disappears. Was she ever there to begin with?
We meet also a Cylon prisoner named Gina. It's a copy of Six who was severely beaten and suffered much abuse. Baltar wins her trust and she escapes, but not before killing Admiral Cain. In the end she can't live with her memories of the abuse and she blows herself up and Cloud 9 and a couple of other ships with her. Because of that the Cylons find the fleet again and occupy New Caprica.
We see multiple Six models during that time aiding Baltar during the occupation. When the planet is attacked by the returning fleet, Caprica Six takes Baltar to one of the basestars. She explains to him how Cylons think and imagine things. She makes Baltar think he's a Cylon himself since he's been imagining mental Six from the time the colonies where destroyed.
