Marcel Damen had a chance to talk to Nico Cortez, better known to the Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans for his role of the young Lt. William "Husker" Adama on the Razor flashbacks (webisodes) and the Battlestar Galactica: Razor movie. He talked about how he became an actor, his part on Battlestar Galactica and of course the possibility of him reprising the role of Husker on the new Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome webseries.

Recently Marcel Damen caught up with Brad Dryborough, better known to Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans as Lt. Louis Hoshi, to do a follow up on the interview he did with him 2007. He talked with Brad about his role on the Battlestar Galactica series, the finale and in The Face of the Enemy webisodes. Next to that he also talked about Brad's own work as a writer, producer and director and his future plans.

Some time ago Marcel Damen interviewed actress Allison Warnyca. Many Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans might not remember her, since she had such a short role. Allison played Lt. Jaycie McGavin, the love interest of young William Adama (played by Nico Cortez) in the first episode of Razor flashback series. In the second episode McGavin returns fatally wounded from a mission, leaving young Bill Adama in anger.

Some time ago Mike Egnor talked extensively to Rick Worthy, better known to Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans as Simon / Cylon #4. He talked about how he got in the business, his work on Star Trek and the Battlestar Galactica series, lost opportunities in using his character on the series and his feelings on some of Simon's decisions. He also goes briefly into his future plans and what's up new for him.

Upon invitation by Battlestar Galactica's producer and director Michael Rymer, photographer and cinematographer Dennys Ilic visited the set to supposedly take some pictures of Michael at work during the finale. What started as a one day visit turned out to be a six weeks stay until the very last scene was shot. Dennys carefully documented the cast and crew at work during their last days on set in both photo and video. Marcel Damen talked to him.

During his six week stay on the Battlestar Galactica set at the time of filming the finale, photographer and cinematographer Dennys Ilic shot over 10,000 photos of the cast, crew and the sets. He plans on bundling these in his cast and crew gift book. Next to that he also plans on bringing out a second book on the cast and crew itself, outside the Battlestar Galactica set (read the full story in the Dennys Ilic GALACTICA.TV interview). About one year ago a Battlestar Galactica 2003 cast and crew series wrap video hit the internet by accident. The cool music video was a gift from Dennys Ilic to the cast and crew of the Battlestar Galactica series. The video showed unique backstage material, shot at the time of filming the finale before it aired, hence why it was taken down by NBC/Universal from most websites. Some time ago Marcel Damen caught up with Christina Schild, better known to the Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans as the Fleet News Service reporter Playa Palacios. She talks about how she got in the business, her theatre work and her role on the Battlestar Galactica series. During the interview we also talk about her collaboration with her colleagues James Callis, Mary McDonnell and Edward James Olmos.

Long time Battlestar Galactica fan, concept artist and illustrator Ray Lai was thrilled when not only Tom DeSanto and Bryan Singer re-imagined the Battlestar Galactica series, but also he could a part of it this time. Sadly this version never came about, but luckily he was hired for the Ron Moore and David Eick version too. He worked on the development of the Colonial symbols and flags, the currency, ranks pins, the viper and the landing bay.

Marcel Damen did a follow up with Tahmoh Penikett, better know as Karl C. "Helo" Agathon on the Battlestar Galactica 2003 series. This interview, which was done in collaboration with the All About Tahmoh Penikett website has only been published in audio so far. It was done in December 2008 at the Starfury convention. Tahmoh talks about his part on Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse and his future plans.

Dennys Ilic was lucky enough to be present with camera in hand during the conclusion of the Battlestar Galactica series. He took thousands of images of which some are now available as a calendar. Each month of the calendar celebrates the sets and hardware of the series. Next to that he's also brought out several art prints of the Vipers, the Phoenix symbol and from Battlestar Galactica actors Mary McDonnell, James Callis and Tricia Helfer.

This particular interview with Carolyn Anderson, a stunt actress on the Battlestar Galactica 2003 series, took a long time to publish (type out) since it was in fact done at the end of the second season already. This doesn't make this interview less interesting since she talks about the Battlestar Galactica series from her unique perspective. Next to that she explains how she got into the business and her exciting work on a big diversity of shows and movies.

Recently Marcel Damen caught up with Matthew Bennett, better known to Battlestar Galactica 2003 series fans as Aaron Doral / Cylon #5. He granted him a follow up to the Matthew Bennett interview we did in January 2007. On June 21, 2009, actress Lorena Gale, better known to Battlestar Galactica 2003 fans as Priestess Elosha, passed away at the age of 51, after losing her battle against cancer. Several months ago Marcel Damen talked extensively to her about her long career and her part on the Battlestar Galactica series. This interview hadn't been published yet, but on learning the sad news we immediately transcribed it for publication to honor this great actress.

They talked about how he got into the business, early work he did and how he ended up and worked on all the Battlestar Galactica seasons. In August 2008 Marcel Damen talked to Battlestar Galactica's cinematographer, Stephen McNutt for over an hour. He talked how he got in the business, meeting David Eick and how he got involved with Battlestar Galactica. They discuss the entire run of the series, his collaboration with the different directors and how he created this particular look we're now all very familiar with.

Michael Hall wrote the "Top Ten Myths of Battlestar Galactica" for us in promotion of his website Galactica-Science.com of which he is the administrator and primary author. This website focuses on the science of the Battlestar Galactica 2003 series. in a previous life Michael was a computer scientist at NASA, specializing in artificial intelligence research.

Last year I came into contact with NASA astronaut Garrett Reisman through Leah Cairns (Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson). He told me this amazing story of him being a huge Battlestar Galactica fan and watching the show in space so he wouldn't miss an episode during his last mission. He even talked to Ron Moore and David Eick from space and in return got invited to visit the set.

When Battlestar Galactica co-executive producer Jane Espenson joined the show as a freelance writer in the third season, she was already well-established in science fiction television. Jane generously took some time out from rewriting a script for Whedon's upcoming series, Dollhouse, to share some thoughts with David Jimerson on her career and on writing for Battlestar Galactica.
