Dennys Ilic GALACTICA.TV interview
Upon invitation by Battlestar Galactica's producer and director Michael Rymer, photographer and cinematographer Dennys Ilic visited the set to supposedly take some pictures of Michael at work during the finale. What started as a one day visit turned out to be a six weeks stay until the very last scene was shot. Dennys carefully documented the cast and crew at work during their last days on set in both photo and video. Marcel Damen talked to him.

Battlestar Galactica Cast and Crew by Dennys Ilic
During his six week stay on the Battlestar Galactica set at the time of filming the finale, photographer and cinematographer Dennys Ilic shot over 10,000 photos of the cast, crew and the sets. He plans on bundling these in his cast and crew gift book. Next to that he also plans on bringing out a second book on the cast and crew itself, outside the Battlestar Galactica set (read the full story in the Dennys Ilic GALACTICA.TV interview). This article shows a gallery of some of the photos he's now making for the second book.

Battlestar Galactica Cast and Crew Series Wrap Video
About one year ago a Battlestar Galactica 2003 cast and crew series wrap video hit the internet by accident. The cool music video was a gift from Dennys Ilic to the cast and crew of the Battlestar Galactica series. The video showed unique backstage material, shot at the time of filming the finale before it aired, hence why it was taken down by NBC/Universal from most websites. Ray Lai GALACTICA.TV interview
Long time Battlestar Galactica fan, concept artist and illustrator Ray Lai was thrilled when not only Tom DeSanto and Bryan Singer re-imagined the Battlestar Galactica series, but also he could a part of it this time. Sadly this version never came about, but luckily he was hired for the Ron Moore and David Eick version too. He worked on the development of the Colonial symbols and flags, the currency, ranks pins, the viper and the landing bay.
