Boone Narr GALACTICA.TV interview

Boone Narr has been training animals for over 30 years. His talents haven taken him to all parts of the world. His company, Boone's Animals for Hollywood, is one of the most widely known and highly respected animal training companies in the world. For Battlestar Galactica Boone Narr trained a chimpanzee named Evolution ("Ëve") to play the role of Boxey's robot pet, Muffit the Daggit. Marcel Damen caught up with him and talked to him about working with Eve on the Battlestar Galactica series.

To capatalize on the Battlestar Galactica series, a bunch of telemovies were brought out after the show was cancelled. One of them being "Experiment in Terra" which mixed together the "Experiment in Terra" episode of the Battlestar Galactica 1978 series, with "The Return of Starbuck" of the Galactica 1980 series and added a complete new intro, with new footage, paintings and storyline on the Cylon origin. This article shows the newly added intro footage and the Jerry Gebr art that was used.

David Stipes is a two time Emmy Award winner with over 30 years of experience in the film industry in various aspects of visual effects and animation. David created visual effects on Battlestar Galactica, Galactica 1980 and Buck Rogers at Universal Hartland. He also worked as a Visual Effects Supervisor on four Star Trek series: The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Enterprise. Marcel Damen talked to him extensively about his career and what he's currently up to.
